Gators Daily x Greet Death Collaboration

Greet Death and Gators Daily decided to collaborate on a merch series. As a result, I was brought in to help crank out the series with them. While learning the difference between a Crocodile and an Alligator, I was able to create a set of designs that featured the water-and-land dwelling creatures in their natural habitat as well as in lands with no land at all. This series includes a long sleeve shirt, short sleeve, and a Ruby polo.

Greet Death Summer 2022 Tour

For their summer tour with Foxing, Greet Death wanted a set of summer merch. This included a hat, a set of shorts, and a long sleeve shirt. The overall design stack was inspired by Nirvana’s In Utero but with a twist. Accented with yellows, blues, and reds, this design set leveraged imagery of torture devices, medical procedures, and anatomy juxtaposed with hints of hope through stars, flowers, and figures looking up.

Long Sleeve Shirt

The summer tour long sleeve shirt features 3 primary blocks of visuals on the front depicting scenes of surgery and bodily organs. Poking through the background is a scalpel with daisies detailed over top to add a hint of being delicate. The Greet Death band lockup includes an all caps GREET with a serif death - a fly accompanies the locks up. Each sleeve features an entity in a standing pose where their head is tilted down. The right sleeve features a glimmer radiating from where the heart should be and the left depicts another figure over top dancing. The back of the shirt has a collage of a torture device that stifles speaking, a wounded hand, and an individual with a pair of lungs for wings.

The hat displays the hopeful individual looking up in the center with GREET DEATH wrapping around it. Stars are mixed in to assist with breaking up the band’s name. This same individual can be found on the back of the long sleeve shirt. Below is a video showing the hats being stitched.

Running Shorts

To finish off the series - a set of running shorts. The shorts features like-elements to help tie everything together. The color scheme is also set to match with the other two merch elements. The shorts design includes the same Greet Death lockup from the long sleeve shirt as well as the fly but this time, as separate elements. The imagery in the shorts includes that of a marble texture, mirrored eyes, and an individual going through the brain mechanics of another individual.

Greet Death Spring 2022 Tour

Leveraging inspiration from a front and back book cover layout, a show flyer specifically for the Greet Death Brooklyn show date was created. It features lyrics from their single Punishment Existence accompanied by a rose and butterfly arch. Within the flower-based crest are show details. In the middle - or spine - chains sandwich door details. On the right, Greet Death is seen in large letters with a graphic of the Grim Reaper taunting an individual trapped within a glass sand timer.

Tour Shirt Details

After creating the Brooklyn show date flyer - Greet Death reached out to implement this design for their Spring tour shirt. The shirt features the grim reaper on the front, the tour details on the back, and additional designs on each sleeve featuring lyrics from another one of their songs.
